ARTIST INFO

A.J.’s unique and colorful work is created using a #2 pencil eraser. The right combination of paint consistency, pressure, color combinations, and circular designs result in her balanced and calm style. Certain color combinations especially resonate with her, so as each piece progresses her challenge is to maintain her initial inspiration by mixing and applying the right colors.

Born and raised in Seattle, A.J. grew up with an appreciation for art. Her father and brother, both collectors and painters, filled their homes with amazing paintings and sculptures. A.J.’s appreciation for art and interiors grew with her working partnerships with interior designers, architects, and upholstery manufacturers in the San Francisco corporate furniture industry.

Currently a stay-at-home mom to her three young daughters, A.J. finds inspiration everywhere. The limitless combinations of color that surround her will keep her “dotting” for years to come.
