The 41st San Francisco Decorator Showcase is delighted to announce the selection of the 2018 Showcase house at 465 Marina Boulevard in the heart of San Francisco’s Marina District, marking the first time in Showcase history that the event will be held in the historic neighborhood. Located across the street from the vibrant Marina Green and San Francisco Bay, on one of the most coveted blocks of Marina Boulevard, this sophisticated three-level home built in 1930, will be transformed by Northern California’s top interior and landscape designers into the West Coast’s premier showcase event.
The exterior of the house will be painted with large bullseyes in bright and exciting colors by me in the month of April. This is a groundbreaking opportunity for me moving my artistic endeavors to a massive scale and incorporating boom-lifts, ladders, and a ton of planning. Be on the look out for exciting updates.
Art Market San Francisco will return to the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion this April for the celebrated art fair's anticipated eighth edition. Following record breaking sales, city-wide partnerships, and attendance of over 25,000 visitors in 2017, the 2018 edition of Art Market San Francisco is pleased to present a significant selection of contemporary and modern artworks from returning Art Market exhibitors and exciting newcomers.
I have received an amazing opportunity to show one of my pieces of work at the Columbus Museum of Art at the An Evening with Art event. The show supports creative programming for children and families, and will be a great night to enjoy new and emerging art in a fabulous venue.
This two-person exhibition will include paintings by A.J. Oishi and photographs by Thea Schrack. Oishi's calm and peaceful paintings are created by compiling thousands of small dots. The circular designs that are common throughout her work symbolize individuals and their journey towards a more healthful, conscious life. Schrack's "Sea Glass" ocean-scape photographic series captures the essence of motion, wind and water.
